The River Main

• The River Main isn't as large as the Rhine or the Danube, but is still reasonably long, that is if you call 307 miles long, reasonably long.

• The River Main is one of the major tributaries to the River Rhine and enters it opposite the German city 'Mainz'.

• The River Main is connected now by canal to the Danube from 'Bomberg' to 'Kelhein'.

• The River Main is formed from two other rivers: 'The Red Main' and 'The White Main'.
